As an Air Force Officer and Pilot, Dan has experience leading teams and larger organizations with significant budgets. He is a graduate of ROTC and Squadron Officer’s School where he was recognized for leadership and academic excellence. He is also a Desert Storm veteran and achieved the rank of Major. 

Dan is currently serving as a member of the Bethel Board of Finance.

Dan has 15 years of healthcare experience in roles in both a large corporation and in a small startup where he worked in numerous specialties, including cardiovascular and orthopedic medicines and durable medical equipment.  Dan leveraged is knowledge on the Public Health Committee in Hartford and was recognized for his efforts by medical associations across the state.

During Dan's tenure in the Air Force, he served in strategic planning and emergency response roles, including authoring hurricane evacuation plans and leading readiness exercises.

In addition to training as a flying and ground safety officer, Dan earned a master’s degree in airport management and taught Human Factors and Mishap Investigation as an adjunct instructor at one of the world’s top aviation universities.  

Dan understands the challenges small business owners face in Connecticut. Since 2017, Dan has had his own business providing sales training and recruiting services, primarily in the aviation and travel industries. 

Dan was elected to 3 terms and served for 6 years as State Representative where he served on the General Law (Ranking Member), Education, Finance Revenue & Bonding, Public Health, Energy & Technology, and Banking committees. He served on the Governor’s Special Education Advisory Council, as well as community non-profit boards.
